GSAT (Global Satellite) Review
Many have subscribed to GSAT (Global Satellite) because of its affordability. Prepaid subscribers have several load denominations to choose from.
Although Gpinoy prepaid subscribers only have one option which is the 99 pesos denomination, the HD subscribers can buy either Php 200, 300, or 500 worth of card valid for 30 days.

As of this writing (January 21, 2017) GSAT has a total of 110 channels including 10 radio stations (don't know if these are same number of channels broadcast outside the Philippines.)
In this review, let me cite the pros and cons of this satellite TV.

In this review, let me cite the pros and cons of this satellite TV.
Pros:
- First and foremost the reason why people give this satellite TV a try is its affordability. As mentioned above, the prepaid denominations are much cheaper compared to any other satellite TVs in the country and even cheaper than most cable TVs.
- It has more channels. Even for 300 pesos load, you can have as many as 81 channels including the 10 radio stations. Three channels or more are on high definition (based only on the channels with HD captions as I notice some other channels are broadcast on HD such as the CNN International).
- Even during bad weather, we can still watch TV. Although if it rains cats and dogs or the sky is overcast with thick and very dark clouds, the signal is temporarily lost.
Cons:
- A number of channels are Asian channels (mostly Chinese) and some are Europeans which language is Greek to the subscribers.
- Some channels are subtitled, but the bad thing there is that the programs are subtitled in Chinese. Be the movie or TV program is in English or not, they should be subtitled using the Universal Language.
- Registration for another 30 days through prepaid cards may take some time. You've got to be patient waiting for the successful confirmation for your load. In my case though, it only took more or less 30 minutes. Other subscribes have experienced quite longer. Some received the confirmation after an hour, a day, or a week. (Based on GSAT Facebook page costumers' complaints.) But you can always ask help through their Facebook page or you can e-mail them for help.
