France is shocked by a series of unprecedented terrorism on Friday night as shooting spree, explosions, and hostage taking took place like in a flash in Paris.

Reports have it that over 100 people have been confirmed dead that French president François Hollande declared a state of emergency and ordered a closure of all the country's borders.

As the Philippines is going to host the 2015 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit this November 18-19, security measures must be tightened to ensure the safety of the world leaders.

President Aquino, amidst the scare brought about by terror attacks in France convened his cabinet security cluster to ensure that all our preparations are in place and all contingencies have been planned for said Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte.

It's good that the government is on the look out for possible terrorism because the country is very vulnerable when it comes to it. There had been some acts of terrorism in the past that the government was unable to contain.
